TLSI@Brgy. Burgos Montalban Rodriguez Rizal Part 1
Earlier today (November 22), The Little Swallow (TLSI), aboard 5 pick up trucks & SUV filled w/ relief goods, set out to Rodriguez, Rizal in order to deliver a new batch of relief goods for the families heavily affected by Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses. From the 200 families as expected beneficiaries from Madrigal Compound (Brgy. Burgos, Rodriguez, Rizal), some 300 families waited for us and have already lined up by the time we arrived – yearning to receive the relief packages which include: ✓ a set of new blanket, pillow, sleeping mat, & mosquito net ✓ food pack (water, canned foods, biscuits, coffee, and noodles) ✓ a dozen of hangers each (from Second Chances Ph) ✓ hygiene kit (tissue rolls, shampoo, soap) For sharing: + extra 1,500 bottles of min. water + a big bag filled w/ pre-loved toys for the toddlers + 2 sacks of pre-loved clothes The above items were very much appreciated by the recipients who were not only ravaged by typhoons & flash flood but were also devastated by a recent fire. TLSI, in coordination w/ the SK of the said baranggay, also sponsored lunch packs for the beneficiaries. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our volunteers who took time out of their rest day (Sunday) and helped us in the preparation, transportation, and distribution of this batch of relief packs. Our endless thanks to everyone who donated in cash & in kind and helped make this and all the other batches of relief packs possible! ❤️ www.thelittleswallow.org
