The Little Swallow at National Children’s Hospital
For the month of September 2019, The Little Swallow (TLSI) alloted its limited resources in extending medical/financial assistance to some (indigent) pediatric patients at National Childrens’ Hospital (NCH) and in distributing goodies for the others. Many thanks to all our TLSI volunteers & “angels” (you know who you are!) for all your efforts and untiring support. Bless your hearts. Thanks as always to the social workers at NCH for always assisting & coordinating w/ us. NCH has more or less 200 pediatric patients. About 80% of them are classified as indigents. Not all of the medical procedures and medicines are available or can be fully provided by NCH.
